Derbyshire Joinery Specialists makes and fits the joinery that changes how a home looks and works: kitchens, fitted wardrobes, staircases, media walls, doors and gates. Every job starts with a visit to measure up and talk it through, and you get a free written quote before anything is ordered or made.

We are part of Derbyshire Specialists Group, so when a job needs other trades, such as an electrician for a media wall or a plumber for a new kitchen, we arrange them through the group and you deal with one team from start to finish.

How we work

1. Visit and measure. We come to you, measure up, look at the walls, floors and openings we will be working with, and talk through what you want.
2. Written quote. You get a free written quote that sets out the work, the materials and anything else the job needs.
3. Made and fitted. We make or prepare what can be done in advance, then fit it on site, scribed to the walls and floors of your house.
4. Other trades arranged. Electrical, plumbing, tiling and plastering are arranged through Derbyshire Specialists Group where the job needs them.

One team for the whole job

Many jobs use more than one of our services. A new staircase often goes with new doors, architraves and skirting on the landing. A kitchen refit can include a new stud wall or a knock-through. A media wall in the lounge is often built alongside alcove shelving. Because the same joiners do all of it, the woodwork matches and it can all go on one quote.
